The whole entire decor of the hotel made me feel as though I was in 1930/50s New York. Even the room had an old-world feel to it. The hotel was located close to the JR station, which also meant that, the hotel was located close to the shopping district. There was Wifi throughout the hotel! Even in our rooms. The toilet was so spacious! so much different from the other hotels in Japan!

The castle-view room at the 12th floor is very spacious for a couple. You have a nice view of the Osaka Castle & Park and the river. The nearest station is Osaka-jokoen, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store at the nearby building but it closes at 11pm. From the Kansai airport (night arrival), it is more convenient to take the airport limo bus to Hankyu Hotel, then take the taxi to New Otani.

The Front Desk staff were very courteous and helpful, especially on my
group's check-out day. We had a group of 16 adults with 16 bags and
had to transfer to Shin-Osaka to catch our bullet train to Nagoya. I

Street" - bright flashing lights, very noisy but hotel has lovely
quiet rooms with friendly service. Heaps of food places of all price
ranges and good shopping especially at Namba Walks shopping area near
trains. Taking Exit b21 was very easy to find the hotel. Interesting
quiet areas nearby. Easy to catch trains everywhere including Kansai
International. Never seen so many young people as at Dotonbori area both

The location is great so close to the metro stations. The supermarket
below is great to buy anything you need included the cheapest alcohol
we've seen anywhere. The full size reproduction of an English church
on the 22nd floor is amusing. All rooms are big and with a great view
over the city. This hotel cost us less than what a lousy motel in

The hotel is beautiful, fancy, very clean and the room was big and
comfortable. The staff was excellent, could speak English very well
and was always helpful. They have directions printed out to major
attractions and can explain every step of the trip very well. The
staff also gives good advice on where to go and what to do in Osaka.

The hotel itself is out of this world. I was expecting something good, but my stay there far exceeded expectation! Great room, great bed and amenities; duck down quilts!!! Felt like 1000TC covers. Staff are pretty fluent in English.

Hotel with great location, just 2-3 minutes walk from Dotonbori
restaurants and nightlife and all the endless shopping arcades. The room
was very clean and everything felt new and inviting. Room size was
enough for our 2 suitcases and bags so we didnt have any complaints at
all. Breakfast was ok but we didnt feel like it was worth the money.

We reserved a standard double room for 2 nights and upon check-in we
were told our room has been upgraded to the superior room on the 27th
floor without any extra fee! Absolutely a very pleasant surprise. The
room was great with all the facilities, and it's very spacious
compared to Japan's standard. The lounge on the 27th floor was just
lovely. Location is also unbeatable: it's steps away from jr Osaka
station and subway Umeda station.
