  The set-up is a bit weird, there is no actual hotel lobby. Instead you are given keys by the staff of the Ippoppotamo restaurant. But, then you are led to the back of the hotel and to your own private room and wow! The hotel isn't cheap but it surely is worth every cent! We arrived by car and loved that parking was free...we loved the hotel and stayed in a room disconnected from the hotel so it felt like a small apartment. it was also perfect to travel around the area! We arrived late and were relieved to find that the hotel had a restaurant where we had a great meal at a reasonable price.   Very year I stay at the Leon D'oro for the trade show in Vicenza in May. Its location close to the station is a plus and the walk to verona Centro is pleasant. I lobby is very welcoming and the recent changes is very refreshing.
