  Main reasons for booking this hotel were the close proximity to places to eat, the gym and the swimming pool. The hotel did not disappoint on any of these. There are many places to eat locally without having to drive. The gym is small but sufficient for a holiday workout and the swimming pool area is lovely. I stayed for three weeks with my daughter and had a wonderful relaxing time to start off the summer vacations. There are 10 restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, so don't let the 3 star rating fool you, this is a top notch hotel.

We initially requested a double room and one extra bed and one baby cot, but they offered us a bigger room, situated at the top of the tower. The room had a nice view of the river and spacious enough for our children to play around.   This really is a fantastic place. We stayed in a beautiful green room with a stylish en-suite bathroom and beautiful views on Tuscan countryside. The whole house is beautifully decorated and is very close to the city gates, much closer than we thought. The owner was full of knowledge and a pleasure to speak with. She provided a fresh breadkfast, for a small fee, but got up early that morning to go to the store and get all fresh ingredients and prepared our breakfast to our liking. It was excellent. The
