Location, The room, the view from the balcony, the services, facilities- all were perfect . The hotel is very elegant and breakfast was extraordinary. The staff! They are beyond amazing. Viviana and her team goes out of her way to make our stay comfortable and make sure all our whims and wishes are met. We have the family room on the ground floor by the gardens and there's a jacuzzi right outside on our very own terrace area. The staffs even clean it again right in front of us when we just mention we will use it.

The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water. We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room. The room had the wow factor and lived up to our expectations. The holiday just went uphill from there! Excellent Hotel. -

The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

La gentillessse du personnel et leur serviabilité - Hotel was convenient - very close to ferries to visit other parts of Amalfi coast. Good breakfast. Be sure to get room above first floor for better view of sea. - Return visit - that says a lot! Hotel particularly suits my aged parent - we hope to return there next year!

The view is just amazing and its position in Sorrento great. The breakfasts were the best of all our 3 weeks in Italy and the staff very helpful. - Excellent view of the bay of Naples from our balcony. Our room was bright clean and had a large balcony and the staff were very friendly.

Outstanding view of the sea from the hotel. We liked the beach below the hotel. We also enjoyed the three-course dinner. The value for the money was much better than the restaurant in Positano that we tried. The service at the hotel provided by Felix and his staff was excellent. Great value for this area, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G views, 15-minute walk into Positano, so a little away from all the crowds and noise, wide variety of foods provided for Continental breakfast, the owner Felice Murano, is an accomplished chef and will prepare deliciously simple Italian foid for dinner on request, a quiet beach and 'Path of the Gods' close by, the staff are courteous, accomodating of my needs and very helpful.
