Stayed for 2 nights July 2013 prior to a cruise. Jerson was amazing and
did more than what was the normal call of duty. A wonderful individual
who took the time to ensure his guests were most comfortable and
offering city info on various sites. Breakfast was plentiful and

The location was great. The Metro was right outside the front doors,
making it so easy to get around. The Vatican was a short ride away. We
set up our own walking tour and from the hotel to the Colosseum,
Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain was about a 5 hour walk... Round-trip!!!

Nice hotel it feels like home as it has only three rooms!! The hotel is inside a block of appartments so you feel like staying in a typical roman house.Every day you have cleaned room towels and there is also a free tray filled up with coffee tea and sweets.breakfast was good also!!! Merulana Suite 2 is brand new, nice and clean place to stay in. It is very close to Colosseum and metro station.
It is run by Pietro and Leonardo with the help of Simona. Very nice people! Pietro greeted us with bottle of wine and some fruits. We had new portion of tasty jellies chocolates every day.

We booked in here on the recommendation of friends we made in Sorento and we were not disappointed at all. Leonardo was so helpful, when we were at the wrong address, he came and "rescued" us. The room was lovely, beautifully renovated space,fabulous bath. A bottle of wine and slippers to greet us, what a great recommendation. Thanks Charlotte and Mark!!!!!!

Staff were very friendly, gave a huge level of detail on where everything was and gave clear directions, location was literally 5-10 minutes from Colosseum. Air conditioning made it comfortable in the height of summer. Wi-Fi was also of a decent speed and was included in the price. Also it's one floor of a building so it feels like you are staying

The host, Luigi, was incredibly nice and was great at explaining all the touristic highlight Rome has to offer and how to avoid certain tourist traps. There's great WiFi in the room and the place also offers a basic but a very sufficient breakfast. The area is close to the Central station and is about a 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Colosseum

Very nice place, Antonio, who runs the B&B, made our stay at Rome
much better. He gave us many tips about restaurants, interesting places
to visit and transportation that made much easier visit the city. The
room are good and always clean, breakfast is good and you feel “at home”
in the B&B. It is located close to the train station and to the
Metro. It is like a B&B with a concierge. I strongly recommend it.
