  Where do I begin. Anyone who has searched for clean and affordable accommodations in Florence know that it is not an easy task. After hours of searching between Tripadvisor and another site, I decided to book a room at Rosso23. The hotel is very convenient to everything worth seeing and doing in Florence. The hotel clerk was very professional and even offered to make reservations for a place to eat my first night (I was not - The hotel is a nice mix of modern and old. The rooms are nicely appointed-the bed is relatively comfortable. The breakfast was quite good and the breakfast area is nice-particularly if you can sit in the courtyard. The location of the hotel is fantastic as it sits right in the Piazza so it was a great launching point. The room was quiet because it did not face the Piazza so keep this in mind when booking.   The location was amazing,u won't get lost, very close to main train station and a plaza,staff was excellent,we found out we booked the wrong date,and we went there in the morning in the same day,the staff offered to change the date for us and just added extra charge for the weekend,she allowed us to check in even tho we didn't stay there that day.... ce que les gens disent » - The best thing I like was location very close to city centre and bus, railway station. Staff lady at desk was very helpful. Breakfast was in nearby restaurant and was ok even though not filling. Family room is spacious.WiFi was working well at all times.   It was only about a 10 minute walk from the Florence train station. Hotel was easy to find & has an elevator to the 3rd floor. We had a large room that did not have any street noise. The rooms are furnished with Ikea type furniture - sort of stark. We had windows that opened. We didn't need heating or cooling when we were there. Staff made reservations for us one night at a local place of sinful gluttony called Il Latini - We were very welcome by the whole staff, mainly by Gina, the owner. They were kind in managing to give us a calm room, exactly as we had asked in the site. Modern decoration, silent air-conditioning, comfortable bed, convinent location and delicious breakfast. During our stay, my boyfriend celebrated his b-day. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at breakfast room and found Gina with a millefoglie cake and champagne for us both!
