It is also right around the corner from the metro and down the street from Termini Station, which runs to one of the airports in Rome. There are also a number or good restaurants of all prices very near, within 10 minutes walking at a leisurely pace. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving tips on how to get into the Colosseum and Roman Forum without waiting 4 hours

  We enjoyed our stay in this friendly B&B with excellent location just across from the side entrance to the Vatican. Bus 64 also took you to Termini passing by the main stops to touristic areas for only €1.50 a 100 minute bus/train ticket. They also recommended a restaurant accross the street with excellent - The staff were helpful and very welcoming. Thwy were also flexible with me letting me leave my bags before an after checking out. The location was perfect as well (just a few blocks to the Vatican City and right across from a bus stop that can take you directly to the train station).

  Location was by far the best thing. The suggestions on how best to visit and tour Rome on foot from the non-24hr reception staff rep was fantastic. Bed was clean. Chauffeur Roberto from airport direct to Guest House was amazing. Great service and would come back just for that alone, taking the pressure of finding and traveling to Rome. Phone/fax/internet shop one block away was super con - + Perfect location for exploring Rome. Right next to the guest-house is the Roman Forum, several great basilicas, Colosseo is 5 minutes walk away, etc. etc. + The rooms are spacious and very well-furnished. The quality you'd expect to find in a 3-4 star hotel rather than in a guest-house. + There is a kitchen with a stove & fridge. Really nice :) Coffee-machine makes nice coffee and hot chocolate 50c a cup (as of September 2013). + The staff was super-friendly and really helpful.

  Casa San Giuseppe is centrally located to everything in Rome, especially the Ponte Sisto, which is a great nighttime hangout with Romans. Because it is on the Trastevere side of Rome, the neighborhood is quiet. This hotel has the best blackout shades I have ever seen in my life, so you have absolutely no idea that it is morning! The staff was extremely nice and helpful, providing us with an extra converter each night and reserving a cab at 5 am on the morning of our depar - We had a rent car, and was fortunate to get a space just in a little alley right in front of the entrance. Trastevere neighbourhood is great, icecream shops, and ristorante and trattorias just around the corner. In walking distance to all major "must see" tourist attractions. For italian standard, the breakfast is very good. Our 3 person room was very spacious, but the furniture and bathroom is some what dated and worn. All in all very good value for money.
