We stayed at casa sain't andrea a day before our cruise. Location is
perfect, only few minutes walk from P. roma to our hotel and like
walking around a building where we catch our shuttle, people's mover
to our cruise ship. Vaporetto or water taxi is just outside the hotel. A
grocery is close by where we bought our bottled water and food supply.

Coming from the airport by bus around 9pm, this hotel was close to the
drop off point which was useful with roller suitcases. We were greeted
by a friendly man who made us welcome and up-graded our room to one that
overlooked the canal. It was great waking up to the canal boats going
about their business, after we had enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep.
Although simply furnished the room was clean and quaintly old-world with
exposed beam look. The breakfast was great and plenty of it! The staff

Mr. Marco - owner of Venice garden hostel is very nice. I checked out late until 7:00 pm because Our train was 8:30 pm and he help me to print the train ticket, give the place for my baby enjoying without any charge. The apartment was in a good location, only being about 500 meters to the grand canal at the San Silvestro stop in S. Polo. It was situated between Campo Aponal and a grocery store at the other end of the alley. It was neat and clean with air conditioning that worked great. It was had ample supplies for the kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend staying there.
