Breakfast was excellent, consisting of cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals and numerous tarts and pastries. All staff I met were top-notch and took a real interest in making us at home. I still cannot believe we got such a high-quality hotel in the centre of Rome at such a competitive rate!

Just a note for others, we spent two days in darkness without realising you could open the heavy shutters over the windows by pressing a button next to the bed!! Breakfast was plentiful with scrambled eggs as well as continental style food. The hotel is not in central rome but only a 10 min walk from a new metro stop S Agnes which takes you to central rome
