  Location was great and the staff was very friendly and polite. First day they gave as a great map of Rome which was very useful and we didn´t need another one. All main atracttions were close enough to walk. Rome is really fascinating and impressive town. Room was very clean, but bathroom is a bit too small. There are ministries and good shops and restaurants nearby. The reception staff were very kind and helpful. There was a bottle of delicious welcome wine in the room which was nice. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the good cappucino.

  The fact that it's near the railway station but not one of the railway station hotels. It's hidden away, very quiet and has a fantastic elevator and outside sitting space. The staff is friendly, funny and genuinely nice. Also there is a solo rehearsal hall on the ground floor, so where else can you hear excellent live opera arias while having coff... ce que les gens disent » ee "at home" on the altana? You try sitting way up high on a deck in Rome listening to "Vissi D'arte". That alone was worth the price. And if the gove - The location was great. Within a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The daytime desk manager was fantastic! He was so helpful with what to do and where to go. I even walked from the hotel to the Forum and Colosseum. Took about 20 minutes but not a bad walk. Hotel is also close to great shopping and restaurants. There is a little pizza place down the street that serves pizza and a drink for 3.50 Euros! I would stay here again!!

  Friendly and helpful staff. Close to via Veneto and barberini. And very easy to walk to all major attractions. Would recommend going to trasrevere. Lovely restaurants. Take the bus from via Veneto- to largo argentina and cross the road to grab a tram to trasrevere. No 1 or no 8. Enjoy the magic of Rome!! Bus rude costs you 14 euros return about 40 min ride. Well - I loved the hotel, very comfortable, stylish, all the photos correspond to reality. A 10-minute walk from Termini Station and 10 minutes from the Trevi Fountain. Little room is small but corresponds Italian coloring. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is basically coffee croissants, yogurt, plop with milk. Very friendly staff! Next time I will definitely stay here.

  We were 8,9,10 April 2011.Everthing was perfect, breakfast reach and very good, clean, comfortable and not expensive to be in Rome and the most important Samantha and Nicoletta where very polite and helped us a lot htey left their mobile phone to be called at any time!

  We stayed at Relais De L'Opera for our honeymoon in Rome and it was an excellent choice. We were contacted in advance and offered various options for a transfer to the hotel from the airport, and chose a private driver who was there and waiting for us.
