Rather than repeat all the advantages of staying here frequently referred to in other reviews, I would like to emphasise the quiet elegance of this hotel.   We really liked the location of this hotel.. A little off the beaten track, near a square 'Campo Santa Marguerita' where there were more Venetians than tourists. Only short work to major sites. We were pleasantly surprised as after reading remarks & rating of previous tourists we expected an overpaid seedy hotel. At Venice you can't talk expect value for money…. But - The location was convenient as it is near the waterbus station which takes you anywhere. The room was clean and neat. We are a group of 4 friends and requested 4 single beds which Hotel Tivoli accommodated. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast with hams and bread. The staff was helpful and provided everything we needed. There are also many restaurants in the area so it is fairly convenient.

  The location was very close to St Marks Square with wonderful restaurants and shops. Olga, was fantastic. The place was spotless and the breakfast was not your typical coffee and muffin. Olga served meat,cheese,yogurt, freshly squeezed juice, crackers croissants, espresso and cappuccino.   calme et la situation - Le service et confort aurait été excellent, si un problème de gaz n'avait pas paralisé tout le quartier pendant notre week-end. Mais une réduction a bien entendu été faite par l'hotel. Petit déjeuné copieux. Donc rien à redire. Tout était parfait (si on oubli l'eau chaude).
