  excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... ce que les gens disent » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  The B&B was our base for two night while we got to know Catania. Valentina was a gracious host and provided an excellent breakfast with homemade biscuits and cakes. The room was off a small courtyard in a gracious old building. We had two rooms plus bathroom, so was very spacious. The room I got was big enough to have a chaise longue and a small round table for relaxing also inside. There was a small fridge. The breakfast is very good, italian-style.

  Familia!!! Before we even arrived at the Hotel Trieste I was in contact with the wonderful couple that owned the hotel. My family's time was limited, unfortunately to only 1 night in Catania. We wanted to go to Mount Etna; see some of the city, and enjoy the food. Hotel Trieste helped organize all of my plans. We got back to the hotel i - The hotel is very clean. The rooms are big. Our room hadd a belcony. We were very surprissed t get tthat quality for the money. The locatio is great, close to everything you wantt to see and busses you need to take. most importantly, it is ran by a young family. I bbegan communication with them even before our arrival. They were great to help us with excursions, directions, etc. We felt veery welcomed and at home. If ever in Catania again, that would be no doubt for us a place to stay.

  Our stay at B&B al Teatro Massimo was faultless! Our host Serge was extremely helpful, charming and informative. We were given the perfect balance of attention and privacy. The breakfast was perfectly presented, wholesome and varied. Serge was also indespensible to all our requirements. In essence our host completed his ta - A perfect place for staying overnight in Catania city, very close to the bar/restaurant streets and 5-10 minutes walk to the main shopping streets. House and room is very nice and big, in traditional old baroque style with calssic old furnitures and pictures - so feeling is very special - in a positive way. Contact Person is very nice and friendly and helps out for questions about the city and seightseeing! Defenitely can recommend this B&B!!!
