This old monastery is in the countryside outside of Lucca. It is situated in a garden / vineyard with beautiful tranquil views. We travelled from the hotel to Lucca and Pisa and found it well located for a drive to the local towns. The courtyard is perfect for a relaxing bottle of wine - which is available from the bar inside.

Romantic room with high ceilings and a nice view and lovely garden for sitting outside. Staff spoke excellent English and was friendly and helpful. Very short drive to the city of Lucca, good strong coffee for breakfast. WLAN available. Excellent local restaurant 3 minutes away (Il Borghetto del Castello).

The Relais Victoria is wonderful. Beautiful Tuscan villa with perfectly maintained pool and gardens. Great place to go to relax and escape into the quiet countryside, but still close enough to Lucca to have dinner in the evenings and to go on walks and hikes. Le charme de nos hôtes! La gentillesse naturelle de Georgio et
Elizabetha nous fît grand plaisir, ainsi qu'à notre fils de 6,5 ans.
L'endroit est splendide. C'est un bonne base pour qui veut
explorer la région. Nous avons dormi comme des loirs! Un bon gros petit
déjeuner et des informations très intéressantes. Merci à nos hôtes ! -

Facility and host were exceptionally delightful. Located off the beaten track so if looking for night life may not want to stay here. Clean, nice hotel, which is a very nice and classic Italian country house with perfect view, right under a castle, in a typically italien village. The owner, the host was very very friendly and helped us immediately if we had a question, gave good advices what should we visit. You can reach easy Lucca, Pisa, Florence, with a stack of "must see" attraction. In the other way You can find beatufil nature, with mountains, small roads.
