We got a huge welcome from the very friendly nad efficient manager and
we chatted for ages. He also gave us several good tips - one of them
about why banks ask if you want to pay in your currency or the currency
of the country you are visiting (make it the country you are visiting -
saves charges). I wonder why the banks don't tell you this! Also

Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. A warm and personal wellcome from the duty receptionist Jonathan, he was very kind to myself and friends and helped us to dry our very wet motor cycle clothes after a very difficult ride from killarney. Due to the inclement weather he organised transport for us to local restaurant and bar, checked our ferry times and if it was running he was just fantastic and I ask you to pass on our sincere thanks.

We had stayed before so knew what to expect.We always enjoy staying at the Danby Lodge.It is always comfortable,clean and the staff are exceptional in caring for you,nothing is too much trouble.The other advantage to staying there is that the food is always good at either dinner or breakfast.As I sometimes travel alone I always feel safe there. -

Very friendly and helpful staff. The bar / restaurant was not much to look at, but the food was very good. There was a small play area outside with swings and climbing area, which was good for entertaining a young child. Also a big lawn / grassy area for running around at one side of the hotel.

A gorgeous B&B only 2 mins from the ferry port.
Ann is a dream. Friendly, laid back/relaxed attitude and nothing is too much trouble for her.
A lovely house with spotlessly clean, classy rooms only a minutes walk away from a couple of pubs where you can get food up to 9pm.

I can't recommend this B&B enough and will definitely use it again. -
Pretty much everything. Our hostess (Anne I think) was a star and made us really welcome. The B&B was very clean, comfortable and with a good breakfast. We stayed there traveling out from Rosslare ferry and then again on return and it is perfect for the ferry. It also has a nice little pub two minutes down the road that was really friendly and with good meals and drinks. All in all highly recommended and would definitely stay again on a return trip.

We arrived late in the evening. We were met by the lady of the house who immediately offered us a cup of tea. Two of our group were catching an early morning sailing so we headed to bed early.We had a large, warm, and comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Recommended !!!! -

hospitable, friendly owners and a lovely Irish breakfast. I shall
certainly stay here again on future visits to Ireland.

I was made to feel Very Special, as the owner picked me up at the train station when I arrived and after preparing just what i wanted for breakfast, he took me to the ferry port the next morning and was ever so kind and accomodating!!! Traveling alone, it had to be the highlight of my six weeks of travels, as I was made to feel so comfortable!!!

That they were great about the dog staying on the premises. The only place in Rosslare that accepts dogs so if you are travelling on the boat with your dog this is a great place to stay.

We were running late & called the restaurant that was due to close
around 9.00pm.they agreed to stay open just for us-we arrived at 9.30pm
and the staff stayed on in order to serve us.leaving around 10.30pm the
room was very clean & comfortable. The owner could not have been

Four of us stayed one night and found it ideal as a stop-off at the beginning and end of our Holiday so conveniently close to the Ferry...we could not fault anything Good friendly service spotless clean and excellent bathrooms 7 shower pressure...Excilent family friendly Pub for food and drinks 100yds along the same side of the road,we didn't want for anything and its all very recommendable by all of us...John & Marion Keogh and cousins Chris & Denis Meehan

Warm, friendly and hospitable landlady. A friend and I just needed beds for the night after leaving the ferry and continuing to Skibbereen next day. The guest house was quiet so the proprietor let us have a bedroom each for no extra charge, and she gave us lovely home made bread, cheese and pickles, also refusing extra payment when we offered. The convenience for catching the early departure ferry to Fishguard. + There was a brilliant sunset the evening we stayed, and it created a fantastic view across the fields to the hills beyond from the verandah of room 9.

Excellant venue prime location for our travelling great value for money not sure how you guys do it but keep it up top class staff so pleasant always smiling and helpful nothing was a problem. I will certainly use the facilities again Thank you for a very relaxing

Staff were brilliant. The bar is really a pub and was good with excellent food, it was very unusual to have normal pub food plus good steaks and Fish and also a complete range of Chinese food.
Room was comfortable with all the usual trimmings. Early breakfast for early morning ferry travellers was a nice touch. Breakfast was average to good.

Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff, we were given an early cooked
breakfast before our 9am ferry - a real bonus as we'd only expected
cereal and toast at that time. The family rooms are excellent - plenty
of room for the 5 of us, a double, a single and bunk beds, clean and
crisp bedding and plenty of towels - what more could you want?! Will

Staff very helpful (night porter and lady on reception when I arrived). Had a great night's sleep, a fine breakfast on departure (even though I was leaving early for the ferry) and enjoyed a glass of wine the night before in the convivial bar. If I need to catch an early ferry again I'd have no hesitation in staying here.
