Warm, friendly and hospitable landlady. A friend and I just needed beds for the night after leaving the ferry and continuing to Skibbereen next day. The guest house was quiet so the proprietor let us have a bedroom each for no extra charge, and she gave us lovely home made bread, cheese and pickles, also refusing extra payment when we offered. I was extremely impressed with the warm and friendly welcome we received from the owner, Kay, from the minute we arrived to the time we departed. Having stayed for the night on the first day of our holiday, we returned again for the last night in order to be able to catch the early ferry. Kay was very friendly and very accomodating. She offered to pick us up
from the Rosslare ferry port, but taxi were easy to come by when
departing ship. She gave us a ride to the port to pick up our rental
car. Her breakfast was delicious and the room, house and setting were
lovely. Very very clean. Dinner at either corner pub was good but will
cost about 15 euro each.

Everything! Kellys hotel is out on its own regarding homely atmosphere, welcomes, customer service and nothing is ever too much trouble, always look forward to trips here. food and dining are first class all presented beautifully and so fresh! the rooms are excellent and the beds very comfortable. going back in March and cant wait.

Staff were brilliant. The bar is really a pub and was good with excellent food, it was very unusual to have normal pub food plus good steaks and Fish and also a complete range of Chinese food.
Room was comfortable with all the usual trimmings. Early breakfast for early morning ferry travellers was a nice touch. Breakfast was average to good.

Chef Chris absolutely loves, and is justifiably very proud of, the food he serves.
We stayed in Archways last year and received the very same warm welcome from Eileen and Chris.
We highly recommend Archways to anyone looking for 1st Class accommodation and facilities!

Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff, we were given an early cooked
breakfast before our 9am ferry - a real bonus as we'd only expected
cereal and toast at that time. The family rooms are excellent - plenty
of room for the 5 of us, a double, a single and bunk beds, clean and
crisp bedding and plenty of towels - what more could you want?! Will

Staff very helpful (night porter and lady on reception when I arrived). Had a great night's sleep, a fine breakfast on departure (even though I was leaving early for the ferry) and enjoyed a glass of wine the night before in the convivial bar. If I need to catch an early ferry again I'd have no hesitation in staying here.
