Bonne situation - I had a very enjoyable experience on a weekend in Cork with my friends. We found the Ashley Hotel to be a great spot to stay right in the centre, close to all the best, high-street shops. Me and my friend stayed there in January, we got a lovely room-very clean, due to the recent renovations. We had a nice breakfast. The location was fantastic.

The wonderful customer service- friendly and helpful every step of the way. The delicious traditional breakfasts AND the great location- just a short walk to Corks main shops/pubs and also a great base for any tourists wanting to do day trips to other areas. Really liked the personal interaction with the hosts/owners who were very generous with helpful travel tips, advice and recommendations. Our room was generous and light and the bathroom light and bright with good towels. It was the only bedroom on our trip that had a powerboard close to a mirror and a writing table which meant you could plug in your computer, recharge your mobile and use the hair-straightener at the same time!

Wonderful service from a wonderful BandB! - The staff were very friendly. Hot tea, coffee and cakes on arrival were lovely. The breakfasts were brilliant, with as much as you could eat. The room was great with a big king size bed and very clean, also with fruit in the room. Absolutely brilliant stay.

The rooms were lovely, big and clean. The price is very reasonable considering how close you are to the city and how nicely decorated the rooms are. There was a nice breakfast and they catered for gluten-free diets. Cork city was only a ten minute walk away, and it's right by the college.
