  Very friendly, inviting owners who made us feel welcome. Sometimes one can feel like one is imposing on the owners of a b and b, but not in this case. Rooms are very private from the owners quarters, almost a hotel setting in that sense but much more convenient access and far better pricing and atmosphere.   The fact that Theresa contacted me via email to thank me for the booking and provide me with directions to the B&B. They were much better than the ones on google maps and were very clear and consise. We had no trouble finding it. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. When we were shown to our room we were asked if we would like a cup of tea... ce que les gens disent » or coffee. We replied that we could make it in our room and Theresa went and got us a plate of biscuits and a jug of fresh milk. The breakfast was fa - Absolutely beautiful B&B and Teresa & Michael make you feel like your part of the family as soon as you arrive. Very comfortable B&B and very relaxing. Gardens are outstanding which were an added bonus as my partner is a gardening fanatic. Michael happily showed off his garden and gave us lots of tips (new microwave will be purchased Michael!! :) )Teresa you make the most outstanding breakfast it kept us going till early evening.   The lady who owned this B&B was extremely welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk through the door. Fabulous Irish breakfast every morning. Rooms were spacious and clean, bathroom was also spotless! The hotel is very close to the town centre and makes shopping/restaurants and bars very accessible! The hosts were warm, welcoming,and very nice. The food was delicious and served in their lovely dining room. In short, it was a memorable experience and we would recommend Fairlawns to anyone.

  Orla & killian were extremely friendly and hospitable. Orla organised a taxi for us and knowing we were going to be late getting to bed, had no problem giving us a later start on breakfast. Room was very comfortable, warm clean. Would definitely stay there again. - Stayed here over a weekend and found Greengates an excellent place to stay.   This is a great place. The rooms are of a really high standard, clean and the beds are super comfy! Perfect location, close to train station and all amenities. No need for taxi’s to bars or restaurants. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and gave me some great advice for my time in Dundalk. I couldn’t have asked for anything more on my stay – I would highly recommend Glen Gat Ho - I stayed in Glen Gat recently for a business trip. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and professional. The B'n'B itself is beautifully styled with period and Irish folklore influences. Glen Gat is ideally located. It's only a two minute walk from the town centre. I didn't need the car or any taxis for my dealings. The breakfast was fantastic as was my room. I look forward to coming back with my family in the future for a longer stay. Many thanks again to the staff.

  Room very spacious. Plenty of electrical outlets. Nice wood floors/ paneling. Very, very clean. Good water pressure. Theresa very friendly.. her son very amiable-recommended good restaurants. No menus re: what items available for breakfast ... so not sure what to " request " for breakfast when we were asked. Could have had more fruit available. ... ce que les gens disent » A lovely place to stay! - The welcome on arrival was excellent with help upstairs with our bags & a cup of tea. We stayed 4 days. Cheery welcome each morning and a very nice Irish breakfast. Neil & Theresa helped us make contact with our relatives in Carrickmacross. Most helpful and much appreciated.
