Ce que les gens disent
Very good location, clean and comfortable rooms, big as well. We were three and we had no problem with anything in the room. We just stayed 4 nights, but we're definitely going again to this hotel. Amazing staff, they were all really nice people (especially Michelle, Teo and James) and they helped us in everything we needed. Besides, you can have fun in the karaoke the weekends. If you want to see the city, enjoy the pubs which are near (Temple Bar, O'Connell Street and so on) and have a great . tous commentaires »
Staff were really friendly, the price can't be beaten, located centrally to
Tourist spots such as dublinia, guiness,Christ church, st.patricks cathedrals, marshal library etc. Michelle was hilarious a really lovely woman made us feel welcome and at home we had a great night.
This place is close enough to the city center (temple bar and all the amenities) great for people going to Dublin on a party night or visiting around
Bar is open 24/7 for the people staying which makes a great place for a quiet one or the last one before bed.
Very friedly staff, thge bar downstairs was brilliant, had a laugh with the loacals who where also very friendly. If i go back to Dublin i will deffinately stay here again!.
The staff were genuine down to earth people who knew how to treat their
guest'S.....As for my friends and I we have no complaints about The
Viking Lodge Hotel.
Functional but fun, perfect for a group of lads
Staff were unbelievably helpful
Walking distance from town
Good value.
Nice and friendly stuff, great location (less than 10 mins to Temple Bar). Really budget friendly.
Very sweet hotel--beautiful room, and very close to the interesting medieval district of Dublin.
Close to City center and nice clean place found the staff helpful would recommend it to others.
Staff were really friendly. Great location if going to Vicker street venue. Good price.
Friendly staff, large room, comfortable bed, quiet, good security.
Michelle made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the few drinks.
close to city center, warm, clean, quiet room , helpful stuff...
good location for good value of money, picturesque style inside.
location is good. staff very friendly. pay for what you get.
Nice and relaxing stay staff friendly and would stay again.
I loved the staff and the service at the Viking Lodge.
Very nice staff, very good for budget, nice loundge.
Savage value, great location and friendly staff.
Brilliant location close to everything.
- Easy of location
- Great Value
- Bar.
The Staff were great and every helpful.
Price, Staff Were Very Nice.
Everything about our stay!.
the room, the decoration.
Friendly staff, good location - a short walk to the centre of Temple
Bar. All the basics were there, including a kettle and complimentary tea
in the room. Continental breakfast is actually included in the price -
you can pay extra if you want a cooked breakfast. Definitely a budget
hotel but my experience was better than some of the comments on this
site led me to expect. For the price, its not a bad choice.
Staff were really friendly & the locals in the attached pub were really friendly and helpful too.
Fantastic location - could walk to all the main sites in 10 - 25 minutes.
They have key code pads rather than keys, to start with I was unsure of this but in the end I liked it as it was much better than keeping a key safe.
Some people said it was really loud, we did not find this at all.
Most of the staff was cheerful and friendly especially a young fellow
that was very willing to help with everything. The price was excellent.
It was right beside a very nice pub called Dean Swift'S. John taught
me to like Guiness there.
Localization: 10 minutes walking to the City Hall (Dame Street)
Accommodations: Nice room, double bed and private bathroom
Price: cheap for the localization
Cleaning: not the best! But we had room cleaning and clean towels every day.
- The value is great.
- The staff was marvelous.
- Really close to the city center.
- Fast Internet connection (wifi) everywhere.
It is in a great location and close to the Hop-on-Hop off bus tour and airlink, central to Dublin sights.
Fair price for the quality.
No problems with the music from the bar when you go out late.
23 quid each (group of 3) so fairly cheap.
Staff were nice.
friendly staff
good price
central location.
Hotel has great character.
The location was good.
friendly staff, price.
Price and Location.
Location is definetly the best point. Also, the woman at the reception
is really nice and welcomes you like few other places. No keys, just a
code (it can be risky actually). Pub right downstairs managed by the
same property.
The staff were very nice and if you want to end up having drinks until the wee hours of the morning in the residence bar this place is for you.
Location was ok. Pretty close to main attractions. But neighborhood was
kind of sketchy.
Location is not too bad, five minutes from the centre.
Very friendly at check-in.
Convenience to Dublin city.
Bed Linen was clean.
nothing really.
Clean bathroom.
Location.
Nothing.
there was a birthday party and it was quite noisy ,I did not care much but.
Noise from pub downstairs on Saturday night could be disturbing for non-night owls.
Staff was sometimes absent from the desk--but they were very helpful with breakfast and taxi.
wolud have liked a tv in room.
Room was bit old and worn but no more than I'd expect for the price. There was no TV and I couldn't find any WIFI, but these weren't big issues for me.
The breakfast we paid 10 euros each was only tea and toast and cereal.
not enough hot water.
bath facilities.
not much in d bedroom. no soap. no chair. just small things.
Its a pity their was no tv and the use of telephone.
I didn't like the décor I feel it needs updating.
just too much light from the street in the room by night.
bathroom was tiny.
Could here the traffic outside.
Wifi wasn't very strong within the room itself. It was mainly for the bar area and breakfast room.
No Hot water thats it.
Nothing!.
the bathroom.
The downstairs bar could be a bit noisy. Bathroom was a bit basic
but passable.
The Irish breakfast was not an Irish breakfast - it was tiny and didn't have everything it should. It certainly did not set you up for the day and definitely was not worth 10 euros.
The bathroom wasn't clean, the cold tap wouldn't turn off without you pulling it up and the shower burnt me one day it was so hot and wouldn't cool down or turn off and then the next day it was cold!.
Room 203 was pretty bad. Then they moved us to Room 201 and it was much
better. They advertised wifi in all the rooms and it was not in Room 203
and poor in Room 201. They did allow me to use the wifi in the
Conference room which was a real help.
Noise: The hostel has a pub that is Very noisy: Was impossible to sleep until 3/4 am on Friday and Saturday!
Staff: Not present sometimes. After coming back at night and ringing on the door several times without answer we figured out we could come into the hostel from the pub.
- The room was not clean (They really need to solve this issue to improve the quality of their hostel).
- A lot of noise came from other guests rooms.
The hotel is old and could go with renovations to make it more comfortable, also Friday and Saturday nights the very loud music does not stop until 4am.
Small old bathroom.
Poor location, right above two pubs so very loud.
Advertised as a hotel, its really more of a hostel.
very uncomfortable,noisy bed
paper thin walls, could hear people in next room very clearly.
no tv,
had to ask for kettle
broken window which was permanently ajar let in cold but could not be opened or closed.
shower door part replaced with shower curtain which let water over floor.
pictures on website deceiving.
Noisy neighbor and no air conditioning in a heat wave (with no cross air flow).
The room was noisy. You could not only hear what was going on in the pub downstairs, but, also, could hear conversations people in neighboring rooms were having. You also were able to enjoy their cigarette smoke as well.
I was not happy at all, I left after 1 hour even if paied for 2 nights.
1. Double room and only one big towel for shower.
2. No TV (but I don't care that much about that).
3. Dirty.
4. One desk but no chairs.
5. Expensive for what you pay (I admit I was lucky enough to get a good deal).
Its dated, though clean enough. Nothing matched re: curtains décor etc. but it was fine to lay our head. We paid a lot for what we got but at the time it was the cheapest for the gig we were going to.
Loud. Dirty bathrooms. One of the showers didnt work. Our door was
hard to keep closed. Continental breakfast was bad. Realize you get
what you pay for, but this was below even those standards.
Wouldn't stay again.
Room was dirty and uncomfortable, heating didn't work and it was cold. Taps didn't work properly and the sink was inaccessible. Breakfast extremely poor.
Having to wait 15 min before anyone could be bothered to take my order for breakfast; continental breakfast was worst I have seen in years (no water; on first day not even jam; etc.). No chair in the room. Very noise until past midnight on a Saturday. Minor issues with the shower.
Old mattress on bed. cracked sink, loose wiring around edge of toilet / shower room. street noise/ traffic. Noisy guests/ banging doors etc.
Very old in general. Very old and noisy bathroom. Hot water didn´t work.
Staff not helpful, no Wi-Fi as advertised.
Terrible mattress, hot, noisy, bad Internet connection.
Rooms.
Over a bar, Very noisy until the early Hours, Paid extra for breakfast was very poor,.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. They messed up our booking and when my brother and friend arrived late at night (as we'd informed them we would be)they were turned away and had to sleep in the car. Instead of accepting responsibility they have tried to make untrue allegations about my brother and his friend. Avoid this place at all costs.
