Brendan was very welcoming and helped us to settle in well. Our overnight stay was very enjoyable with a hearty breakfast to start the day. Our host was most obliging with information. The property is a short walk to the city centre where we were able to enjoy a bus tour and get a good perspective of Cork. -

We had a clean, spacious and comfortable room with a great shower. Breakfast is good, hot food, coffee and juice. The location is not too far from town - it takes about 20 minutes to walk or you can jump on the bus that stops out the front and runs up the main street of Cork. Almost everything! The location is perfect, the owners are decent, lovely, kind and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better host. The value for our money in the room we got was excellent. The breakfast is everything we wanted plus it's served with a smile from the owners. How can you not have an enjoyable stay in such a place not too mention they got free WiFi. I will recommend the place to our friends anytime. Will go back there if we get a chance.

Our host Eileen was a real gem - she made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to drop us off in the city (not sure if this is usual or not!). She supplied us with a full buffet breakfast in a beautiful dining room overlooking a garden, a lovely way to start the day.
Blackrock is not right in the centre of Cork but the city is easily accessible by car (10 mins drive) or by bus - there is a bus stop right outside the accommodation.

Wonderful service from a wonderful BandB! - The staff were very friendly. Hot tea, coffee and cakes on arrival were lovely. The breakfasts were brilliant, with as much as you could eat. The room was great with a big king size bed and very clean, also with fruit in the room. Absolutely brilliant stay.

Arriving and leaving the staff were very very friendly kind and helpfull. Appartment was very clean with plenty of room with kitchen well supplied, we didnt here any noise from any other appartments any night as the hotel/app' was full at the time.

was very good and we did not want for anything. We shopped at the
Blarney Woolen Mill - we went to the Castle Medieval dinner and
really enjoyed that. We drove up to the Cliffs of Moher. There was a
wedding while we were there and we observed the facilities decorated
in an excellent manner.
