  Loved the bed! It was huge and so comfortable. Also loved the bathroom, underfloor heating and lovely big bath as well as shower. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom you can order them complimentary from room service. Freshly cooked to order not the buffet style hotels usually opt for. All in all we loved our overnight stay and wi - I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, and I'm extremely difficult to please! The wonderful staff made the family run hotel all the more welcoming. We looked round town for something to eat and ended up back at the hotel which resulted in having one of the best meals during our holiday in Ireland. Dermot organised tickets for the cultural evening which was a great introduction to Irish music and dancing. (so thank you Dermot!) The breakfast was so good, we couldn't manage lunch - they certainl

  My husband and Iiked Watties immediately. We got there too early to check in but Maria let us park the car and tell us some places to have lunch. Our room was very comfortable, so was the bed, (slept like a rock, it's very quiet area) with a spacious en suite bath and lots of storage space. Altogether a lovely stay thanks to Mar - You cannot beat the location of this B&B, from our room we could look out of the window at night and see the castle lit up. The abbey was only a few steps away and the castle itself was a 5 mins walk at most. The host was a gracious lady who helped us with recommendations and let us stay parked in her driveway after check out so that we could save parking at the castle.

  We finished up a 3 week visit to Ireland with 2 nights at the Cashel Palace Hotel. What a great ending to a wonderful vacation! The Cashel Palace Hotel has an old-world charm and elegance which is hard to find. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The wall of names of the many famous people who had stayed there. The fantastic dinner in the Buttery, breakfast to ! Wonderful staff.
