We stayed in Radisson Blu before and this was our second trip love this hotel for its location and the fact that it is on the river Shannon, the weather was fab and we were able to avail of the barbecue which was great value for money. helpful/knowleagable/and the room was one of the nicest we have
stayed in...food lovely and breakfast fantastic, not rushed out at noon
as rugby match was on...i noticed that some guests were given breakfast
in tv room to facilitate watching the Lions match...informal niceties
that added to our enjoyment of our stay!(EVEN Tho the Lions lost!!)

Situation in Athlone Centre shopping centre, as it was raining! Everything about the hotel was new and fresh. We travelled as 4 adults and stumbled across arch house on our way back to Dublin. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was fantastic. The hotel was really lovely. I couldn't get over how nice the staff were - even going to the bother of ringing up the room minutes after we checked in to make sure everything was to our liking.
The shower was amazing with jets on both sides.

Family room was great. We have stayed at higher graded hotels where the
second childs bed was a fold out camp bed, at the Creggan it was a
proper single bed which was very welcome. Also nice and quiet at night
time, the kids were competing in athletics competition so both of these
factors helped in them getting a good nights sleep!! -

We liked the fact of a late reception, comfortable room and good snappy breakfast.

Ideal location for golfers, people who fish, or anyone who wants to visit Athlone town. We were very impressed from the minute we arrived at the B/B to the time we left. Niamh and Ronan were very friendly and went above and beyond the call of
duty. We used our towels and wanted to re-use them. Niamh left notes to
tell us who used which towel. She was so kind. They recommended many
different types of eatery and suggested pre-booking. We had 2 beautiful
meals out in Athlone. The sat nav co-ordinates were spot-on.

Friendly hosts who are very welcoming. Accommodation very clean and well maintained. Comfortable and quiet bedroom allowing a good nights sleep. Excellent breakfast cooked to order and served till 10 o'clock which suited our late nights! Only a five minute drive into Athlone makes it a very convenient base. Would definitely recommend thhis B& B with no hesitation.

We were contacted prior to arrival confirming arrival,which was a nice surprise. When we arrived we were greeted at the door . Tea and homemade scones ready upon arrival and Alacoque & Gerry made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. They both went above and beyond the call of B&B
