The rooms and balconies along with lower level day bed and table and chairs gave you options in and out of the sun while you were at your room. Gardens and pool were lovely. We were at first put into accommodation known as a Lumbung these are cramped, dark and tiny with almost a ladder going from upper bedroom to the outdoor downstairs bathroom which is very steep. They are kind of a traditional Indo style place my friend and I decided this was not for us and asked to change the staff were most amenable and put us into a fab newer room one level with gorgeous outdoor bathroom. It seems there are two distinct parts to Vila Ombek two pools etc the Pearl of Trewangan

I have read many reviews and finally chose Samba Villa. First, because I
was intrigued by the fact that it has fishes and sea turtle spot just in
front of the hotel. Second, because the rate is competitive with other
luxury villas I was interested in. Me and my husband were satisfied with

Super nice hotel, great location, helpful and super friendly staff! No pool but the beach is right across from the hotel. The restaurant Mawar next to Good Heart is the best place to eat, all we had was superb. I would recommend Good Heart to everyone going to Trawangan!

We initially booked 2 nights but liked it so much we booked 2 additional nights. The staff is really nice, breakfast delicious, 4-5pm there is tea time with a delicious snack, the pool was great, beach also. Free beach beds, bikes to drive to the center and free towels. We loved the fact that is was a 5-10 min bike ride to the 'center', where all restaurants are. Tip for a good Italian place is Blu d'mare and a little bit more expensive but also great is Ko-Ko-Mo.

The room was very nice and good value, big comfortable bed and big luxurious bathroom. Free use of safe and nice outdoor sitting are. Very friendly staff, breakfast was free and was ok.
