About 1 hour drive from Budapest Good staff! Dogfriendly 7/10€ perdog/night depending on size of dog - Very friendly, great if you are doing a Danube bike tour

  Fantastic location only 1 min walk to lake front. Apartment beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped. Csaba picked us up and run us back to the train station at no cost. He was on hand if we had any problems (which we didn't) and could not have been more helpful.   Exceptionally reasonably priced (30 Euros for a single room, 5 Euros extra for breakfast). Very helpful owner/manager (Tibor) and his delightful daughter. Tibor speaks good German but little English, however his daugter speaks excellent English. Nice location on ther edge of the lake. Nice, quiet location, friendly staff, parking place, free WiFi, air conditioning, good breakfast, spacious rooms. The single problem was that Tata city does not exist as city on IGo gps program (only Tatabanya, where the same street and number is present) so I had to use the coordinates to find the destination. - Cosy, friendly and well-furnished rooms. We were offered the possibility to choose our room and even got a better rate than the booked one. Excellent breakfast and free wi-fi. A real get-away from the city stress.

  We had an absolutely fantastic holiday there in June. The owners, a very nice couple, did their best to make our stay unforgettable. We had fantastic breakfasts - whatever we wanted to have. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spaceous, with comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms. There is a beautiful garden with outdoor swimming pool. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and the breakfasts were excellent.The pretty garden and small pool were a bonus. This was a very relaxing stay and although little English was spoken the hosts were great.

  Good location, acceptable price, very close to the ruins of beautiful castle, possibility of treking in the hills, very good restaurant in the centre of the village - they speak German and make fantastic food.

  Excellent hotel! Large room with balcony and fridge, very clean, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful host (he had a map with suggested walking tour and made great restaurant recommendations). We were on a bike trip across Hungary and he let us park the bikes in the garage. Fast wifi, satellite TV with hundreds of channels. B - We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our host was most obliging and helpful. Our room was spacious, air-conditioned and well set-up. The WiFi worked well. There was a good selection of food at breakfast with the option of some cooked eggs, etc. The hotel was close to a small supermarket if you needed some supplies and it was 10-15 minutes walk from the basilica/castle area and some excellent restaurants which our host recommended. Parking was easy.

  The owner were lovely although their english is not perfect they are trying hard to explain everything and answer your questions. We wanted to go horse ridimg they pick up the phone for us, and although it wasn t possible after all, got all the info for us. It s not far the center of Tihany and close to trail departure if you go hiking - The Room was bright, clean and airy and decorated very well with good storage. The garden outside was very pretty and it location of 10 minute walk from the centre of Tihany is great. However, we were there at the very end of September, and at 8pm, it was dead silent, felt more like it was midnight!
