We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. The location is excellent as you can watch the dramatic sunset and has a
very good view of the Caldera. The design of the hotel is very Grecian
so if you want to experience or feel like an ancient Greek, this is the

Our 5-day stay here was perfect with its marvelous views and breathtaking sunsets. Try one of the best pools in the island with sunbeds and umbrellas, where the air is sweet from herbs and nectar and birds fly over the head. This is a fantastic boutique hotel located at the highest point of the caldera with breathtaking views - the best in Santorini. Position perfect it is just a few minutes walk to the shops and cafes of FIra yet away from the noise. Everything was perfect. The rooms are very well appointed, immaculately clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. Marizan has been the most impressive stay in the decade for me and my wife.
We stayed with the Honeymoon cave type for 2 nights which is spacious and very clean. There are all necessary kitchen equipment.
The hotel locates on the best sunset viewpoint , no need to reserve the seat like the public viewpoint that require to reach there 2-3 hours before sunset.
Georgia and Giannis (Owners) took care us very great, we felt warm like staying at home.
It takes only 10 minutes to the center of Oia.

The owners were lovely and so helpful both prior to us arriving and while we were there. The room was stunning and the views even better. The location was perfect. It was at the beginning of Oia and was very quiet and private. Though we weren't able to see the sunset from our own balcony, still the view was amazing. Also Katerina was very friendly. Unfortunately when my family stayed at Santorini, there were some electricity problem through out the island (no water supply aswell for few hours) but Katerina was so kind to send us bunch of water bottles to make our stay comfortable. Thanks again Katerina and hope to see u again :)
