We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apolloni... ce que les gens disent » a) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We weren't able to rent a car (they ran out) but did very well using the bus. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. Everything was clean.

Staff lovely - and were extremely helpful when I approached them with questions about walking on the island.
