  The staff spoke fluent English and did their best to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I liked the ambiance of the Gasthof-Hotel Hohensteiger, and was impressed by the size of my room for the price.   While the staff were very lovely friendly it did take me a couple of days to work out the unstaffed 'mini-bar' in the lobby. The rooms are clean and well serviced but a little tired and in need of a refit.
