  I always use the AVUS for ICC Meetings in Berlin. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast, food and drink are all very good.   We were given a huge room which even after we'd stored our luggage (we were touring by car) left us lots of space. The hotel also faces onto a busy road so expected some road noise if you are given either the two largest rooms, which face the street. Other rooms face the rear of the hotel and will be less noisy.

Got picked up at the airport promptly, despite missing my first flight. The apartment was rather big, very very well lit. It is very close (10 min walk) to icc Berlin, which is where my conference was. The U-bahn line u2 is also a 2 min walk. The Wi-Fi was extremely fast (~14 Mbps). Herr Rosenhoefer was very friendly and helpful, and I would really like to stay there again if I go to Berlin!
