Located in Sanlitun, a "foreigner friendly" area with its restaurants, shops and nightlife.
The bathroom in our room was minimalist but definitely did the job.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. EVen better than 5 star hotels we've stayed in before. There is a pub downstairs, big variety of good beers, we liked sitting there.

I was in Beijing for a business trip for five days and stayed at this
hotel. The location is very good there are some good restaurants in the
area in walking distance but anyway the Taxi's are so cheap so no
worries.. So other reviewers complaint about non English speaking
staff.. Indeed there re some but if you count that they have about 10

Its my sixth stay at this hotel for business trip and i will be back. They now have a brand new Gym which makes it even nicer. The location is great and they have a minivan that takes you to the MTR in the morning. The Great Room where they serve breakfast is bright, full of sunshine in the morning. Quality of the food is good and its open till 10 pm.

I am a true fan of the Opposite House. I stay once a year there, when on Business in Beijing. The staff is very helpful and is happy to take care of many issues, which would cost you a lot of time doing yourself, such as printing business cards etc. The rooms are great, with all facilities you want, nice coffee, great music system, free mini-bar. bar area, just about 50m inside a lane right in front of "3.3"

Clean room, excellent and helpful staff with good English level. Very good location, close to embassies (safe). A lot of restaurants and bars around, pretty touristic, very well adapted for foreigners. Very good value for money.

Before I go to this Hotel I read some negative points. Forst that the
hotel is old, carpets dirty, bathroom in vary bad condition and dirty ,
not enough light in room etc. I paid around 80,00 euros per night and I
had very brand new renovated room with separate bathtoom and a modern
shower. They clean the room twice a day staff willing to do every

The location is very useful for city travellers as Line 10 subway
station is across the road from the hotel.
The hotel has a nice warm feel to it. we had a standard king size room that was very clean, confortable and had a nice size bathroom with a bath and shower. Overall, this hotel will be my choice for my next time in Beijing. Very satisfied.
