Restaurant staff small for the demand; Because the rooms are carpeted i think it is about time of a thorough cleaning up, including curtains and rugs; previous guest had smoked and as such the smell of smoke was in there when i've gotten in.
Excellent location; safe and friendly area; spotless, well maintained, elegant classic decor; lovely bedding; indoor pool and lounge area was so great--especially if guests need a place to relax while waiting for a late evening flight; excellent value; fabulous buffet brunch was great. Staff was so helpful and accommodating, with good English speaking skills which is crucial to travelers in Chile. 5* all the way!

If there was a better grade than excellent, I would give that to the staff. It was a genuinely friendly hotel with a level of hospitality of Chilean heart. Room was spacious and location really good.
The friendlyness compensated the occasional elevator failures and somewhat humble looks.

The hotel is comfortable, well-located (bus, subway, shops, restaurants, city bus tours, parks/open spaces). Our 2nd floor room faced a side street and was quiet, and it and bathroom was adequate in size. Breakfasts (included) were good (variety/quality of food). Staff were helpful. Safe provided. Good pricing. Seating area in lobby is attractive.

Staff were really friendly and could not do enough for you. Their English understanding was great and communication was not an issue. Rooms were really comfortable, beds and pillows great. Location only 250mt from Los Leones train station. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We would definitely stay if in Santiago again.

I spent twenty minutes waiting to check in while she flirted with another client and studiously ignored me. Reception was a table behind a screen in the restaurant. I sat waiting on the edge of the restaurant watching my baggage didnt dissapear. The room was average,the carpet threadbare.The whole ambient tired worn out. 5 star more like 3

Their return policy. I lost over $1,000 because guest had to cancel. That is uncalled for and completely unfair. There should be some limitations to this rule.
