Right from the start we were treated so well by the Manager. He graciously came and picked us up from town since we had flown into Ganges by seaplane. We were able to walk into and back from town several times. Later he drove us to pick up our adult daughter who was joining us.
He was gracious and helpful and went the extra mile twice!
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed the location with the view of the ocean and the woods.

Although you have to travel about 3 km down a dusty gravel road to get there, it is worth it. Cedar Park Resort has manicured grounds and friendly staff/owners. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom duplex cabin which was very clean and it had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Playing cards were even provided. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. I would stay again and I recommend the resort.

Friendly hosts. The impromptu bagpipe recitals both nights we were there: the stirring sound echoing across the meadows! The spectacular views of Mt Robson across the meadows of wildflowers. The kitchen facilities allowed us to prepare home-cooked meals - something we had been missing in our 4 weeks of travel. What an inspiring place! -

The staff are very friendly and willing to help you choose the most suitable activity for you.
The room is very spacious and comfortable. We saved lots of money cooking our own meals at the kitchen of our room.

I actually booked this lodge thinking it was close to the highway through Clearwater, but turned out it was 34km off the track. However, it is a lovely spot, and the wonderful chalet room we had with a verandah more than compensated fir the short detour. A real find.

1) Doris! What a neat lady: owner, maid, information officer, story-teller and, best of all, gourmet COOK. Served us a delicious schnitzel with mushrooms, potatoes, veges. Plus dessert. With wine of course. On no notice!

The owner was friendly and always present when I needed something. The location was ideal with a BBQ deck to enjoy a cup of tea in the a.m. or dinner at night overlooking the lake. The rooms were attended by friendly staff. -
