  The hotel is very clean with ceramic floors and has no mold which is a plus for someone that suffers from severe allergies like I do. It's right by the beach and very close to the shopping RioMar( the newest and best mall in Recife) The staff are nice and helpful. - The rooms were large & spacious and modern.   We liked the fact that we could walk out the gate and see the historic center of Olinda. It was so convenient. The staff were very good and several of them were able to give us good information in English. We were so busy that we did not have time to take advantage of the pool except to enjoy seeing it from the restaurant.   Right from the start this was a great experience with a gracious, welcoming check-in process. The room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds, good linens and towels, and a great view of Boa Viagem beach. The food ordered up from room service was excellent, as was the great breakfast buffet (cafe da manha) they served. HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Front desk staff were helpful. Rooms were good, I stayed twice. Not new and immaculate, but quite good. Elevators were having some glitches. The breakfast was quite good.

  The hotel was right on the beach and close to restaurants. There wasn't much noise from traffic and the breakfast had a good mix of international and local food. Staff were always friendly and helpful. - nice breakfast.

  I stood there participating in an Convention in the very near Exhibition Center. Being picked up at the Airport, I had immediately a guided tour by the very friendly Taxi driver - great. Once arrived at the Hotel, I had a very warm welcome. My spacious room had a balcony, a fantastic hammock and was located in a very quiet angle of the Hotel. The staff is friendly and - A very charming hotel with helpful and very friendly staff. Our room was unusual with a clever use of space and French doors that led to an outside patio and stairs to a small balcony overlooking the wall. Good location within walking distance of many nice restaurants and artisan shops. Nice swimming pool and grounds. An oasis in the middle of Olinda/Recife. As a bonus, on Sunday nights there is an open air "market" with many interesting food choices and the usual tourist fare.
