Mon séjour à Rio a été rendu encore plus fabuleux par la Villa Almirante et ses hôtes. Une belle maison rénovée avec goût, et où on se sent bien. C'est assurément l'un des endroits les plus charmants et agréables où il m'a été donné de séjourner. Merci à l'équipe, à Éric particulièrement, pour votre accueil. Leila and Luiz are fantastic hosts. They make you feel at home in their house and help out willingly and effectively. The location is very unique, located between the city center and South part of town, it's possible to reach any part of Rio quickly.

The owners Leo & Leila have just opened their beautifull family home to guests. I felt lucky to have come across this lovely family residence before they become to popular. I felt a welcome guest of the family rather than a customer. Leo & Leila went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. What is there not to like about this brilliantly conceived guest house? The attention to detail in every aspect was much appreciated. Very much like staying at a family home, yet with freedom and privacy. Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

Even before we left the UK our host Isobel was most welcoming arranging pick up at the airport. We woke up the next morning to the most amazing view and fantastic breakfast on the veranda. I am a regular visitor to Rio, the views from Rio Panoramic are the best I have seen, absolutely stunning! Set in the hills of Santa Theresa, this beautiful house has been lovingly restored and furnished and decorated with great taste.
