There’s something one must do in his life: be in Burges and stay at
Villa Chantecler. The town is so gorgeous that it can be seen during the
cold winter time with it’s Christmas Markets or warm Springs and
pleasant summers and it must be toured on bike, I don’t like anonymous
hotels when I go travelling because one has to know the people onsite,
not only monuments and shops and restaurants. The only way to do it is
to stay with them where they live: at home. And this is what Villa

Villa Chantecler is a lovely B&B. The hosts are very welcoming and they offer a service that would rate 5 star in our opinion. They are very generous with their time. The rooms are very spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is delightful and beautifully presented. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying at Villa Chantecler. Thank you Virginie and Frederick.
Everything, the location to central Bruges but also some beautiful local shops and restaurants. A very modern but still cosy design to the room, the friendliest of hosts that I have ever met. If you are staying near Bruges then this is a must for a B&B.
The best place to enjoy the city in the best company, they are really nice, with lots of tourism facilities and bikes!!! If you really want to be quiet around the city center, this is your place!!! Clean, safe, cool, nice and warm with no doubts.
Virginie was extremely helpful in providing detail on Bruges, where to eat and what to see during our visit. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.
Owners were really welcoming and helpful. Really lovely breakfast, comfy beds, high standard of finish to the room.
The room is nicely decorated and bigger than average with a spacious
bathroom. Breakfast is included in the room rate and the host is very
helpful. She will answer your questions about Brugge and suggest good
places to visit. There is free parking in the street. The centre of
Brugge is roughly 20-25 minutes away on foot.

We had to pay in cash.
Only thing some guests might not like is there being no door between the toilet and the rest of the room, but it didn't bother us.
The villa is situated on the main road, so it is quite noisy throughout
the night. The windows would need secondary glazing to avoid hearing the
running cars so much. On the day when we were staying in the villa,
there was no hot water; however, the host was great and did not charge
us for that night.
