Good location, great price, small dorms so quite quiet
the small dorms mean that you might meet less people. it would have been nice to have a hands driver in the bathroom.
Very friendly staff who were more than willing to help in anyway they could. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Got what i paid for. Great location!
The light in the toilet was on a sensor so when i went to take a number two it went out if i was on for too long. (maybe more of a reflection on me...)
People where friendly. In the middle of kings cross so going out was not a problem. For $26 it is a bargain. Ample breakfast, and events going around. Ill visit the funk house again.
This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center.
The facilities could have been cleaner. This is probably not a place for people who want to go to bed early, and King Cross is not the safest place... But if you don't come back at 3am alone throuh the small dark laneways, you'll be fine :)

Very close to clubs, shops and public transport Staff were very friendly, knowledgable and willing to help Free brekky everyday and they also organized nights out so we could meet other travelers

Cleaning staff very noisy from 7 am in the morning. Some residents don't realise how load they actually are. Very few towels available.
