We loved the room service and the gym facility was excellent. They were also very quick to send up the crib that we requested and to retrieve our car with the valet service.
We were expecting the pool to be heated and for there to be a whirlpool.

The staff were courteous and helpful. Liked the Starbucks down on the ground floor. Loved the fact it was above Metro Center and around the corner from the White House, Spy Museum, Crime Museum and some high street brands plus Macy's across the street. Also within walking distance to Chinatown and restaurants. Very central and accessible because of subway below. Good breakfast. appreciated the fact it had free laundry room use - very important as we were on the road for a month.
Nothing really. If at all, it was very quiet at night after 10 pm - so walking home at midnight after a movie or dinner out needed some caution as they were a few homeless drunks along the way to the hotel.
Staff were lovely - floor staff at the door, reception, concierge, room service, cleaners - all sensational. The bathroom divine, beds really comfortable, reading light & comfy chair well used. Location 5-star for our sightseeing.
Reception area was always very cold - it was hot weather during our stay but reception was a bit too cold. TV was a problem throughout our stay, technical support was not helpful, we were told that several rooms on our floor were having trouble accessing movies. I complained several times but never properly resolved. A TV guide for TV programs in the room would be helpful as the remote control guide does not work. This aspect was disappointing.

It is an amazing hotel! The location is superb and you are only 1 minute away by walk from all the clothing stores. Definitely recommended.

Very conveniently located next the metro, macys, a short walk from the white house and most tourist attractions.
Sometimes I wondered what the use of those bell boys out side the hotel entrance was, as they just look on while guests with luggage struggle with a manual rotating entrance (it is no longer automatic!). They should take them to Marriott Biscayne Bay Miami (where i just arrived from) for on the job training
Convenient to the metro and the Verizon Centet
Location to Nike Half Marathon start line. Left the hotel at 6:45 am and started running at 7:00 am. Shared the room with my daughter who ran with me. Finished in 2 hours 24 minutes!!! At 56 my first 1/2 marathon. Thanks to the relaxing room.
Weekend work on the metro.

We did not like the fact that you had to valet park, then pay almost $50.00 a night to park. Crazy!
Location is great for sight seeing. We were able to walk to everything and Metro is half block away if needed. Staff was very friendly and had nice recommendations for places to eat. The bed was very comfortable. Black out curtains were great! We had a corner room and were still able to sleep late thanks to darkness. I also liked that I could set up coffee anywhere I liked - for me this next to the bed the night before so just need to reach over a turn it on. Coffee in bed is a treat!
There was no table. I like to get room service and relax but room wasn't conducive to this so never did it. There was a large desk so guess they cater more to business travelers.

I hated that the Internet and the parking were paying and expensive. I had to add $60 per night. You pay a lot of money for a good hotel and you do not have the facilities that you can find included in every motel. Absolutely Incredible.
The lack of availability of free wi-fi in the rooms, particularly as this is available in the Courtyard Marriott in Indianapolis for the same room rate.
