  While I was there I was ironing my shirt to go out and there was something on the iron that transferred to my shirt, I called the front desk, just to get a new iron and they got someone to not only get the stain out but iron the shirt for me. - The hotel is excellent with an european atmosphere and all the amenities to make our stay very pleasant... mitä ihmiset sanovat » .   Excellent staff that seemed to be genuinely interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Although still going through a renovation phase, the Lancaster is a well appointed historic hotel with excellent access to Houston's theatre district and good quality restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was a full buffet rather than a continental breakfast. The complimentary shuttle service was fast and the drivers very courteous and helpful. There was a free wine hour in the evening and room service was prompt. This was the very best experience I've ever had at a hotel!

  Every one there was extremely nice and helpful. The beds were super comfortable and clean.perfect location when going any where,like places to eat, shopping, sight seeing, all close enough and not too far. Also my room (880) was next to a suite of an old time favorite actor John Wayne. A lot of famous people stayed there. The hotel was stunning and we got a very great price for a king room. the location was perfect.
