IF you are a guy (ladies would not feel comfortable here) simply looking for a place to sleep and don't care about amenities, this place will do. I slept well, it's 50 feet away from the bus stop ($3 all day travel pass), it cost 1/3 what convention center rooms cost and the management was helpful. Duke
The outside of the motel looks shabby, but inside the room was clean and freshly painted. Just fine for those who are have a 'minimalist' expectation. I enjoyed riding the bus with the local riders helping to know when to get off to ride the streetcar toward the Convention Center I would recommend the motel only to those who are okay with the 'basics' having a place to sleep
The manager was really friendly, I believe his name was louis. I stayed at the sweets inn for mardi gras. He was always willing to call a cab for me and my boyfriend. The person that stayed before us had stolen the key for our room but the manager was always right there to unlock our room and let us in. I would recommend this hotel. I didn't feel uncomfortable staying there, he did a good job of making us feel like real people not just someone that was just there. And to top this off, he was the only one working... 24 hours, at any time we needed him, he was right there for us.
it was a great value,and is nicer than other motels in area,had a great time,management is very friendly.

Bathroom door didn't close. Tried to charge my card three extra times!!! Pathetic tv. No phone. No one would deliver food to this place. No cabs would come to this place. Pathetic overall...

I like nothing. The rooms was not clean when we arrived. No pillow cases on the pillows. Propery very dirty. The remote for tv had no battries they said they would get us some but never did.Some cabs refuse to take us ther at night. I would not let a dying turd stay there
