  The staff was very friendly, the pictures of the hotel is real: "What you see is what you get" - The beds are comfortable, rooms has a good size for a hotel in Manhattan - Clean and nice! All in all it is a really good and nice hotel to stay in. It is quiet at night time, and is therefor both family friendly as group fri - The staff were brilliant. Gave us a late check out at no extra cost and the bar staff are very friendly. A great, clean comfortable room and not far from the sights or subway. I would stay again.

It is ny so the rooms are smaaaaa - The staff, location and excellent value. The rooms are small but very nicely equipped. 22nd street is more quiet than most, so the street noise was very low for NY. Neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops, subway is a short block away, and there is a Citibike stand right outside the front door.

  Overall, a great hotel, well situated to catch all of NY. Pleasant and helpful staff. However, beware of paying for a high floor room, thinking you will get a view! One of our rooms had a view of the Empire State Building - great! But the other has a view of the wall of the building opposite! It was in a great location, walking distance from the shops on 5th avenue, Time Square ( if you don't mind walking 30 minutes), Madison Square garden, Megabus/Bolt drop off and pick up locations, PENN Station and literally seconds away from subway/Train station. They have a really cute downstairs lounge called the Living - The location was perfect for what we were there for. It was so easy to get anywhere from our hotel location. The live band downstairs was great (besides the fact that we could hear it in our room the first night).

  I am a designer and i loved the whole design of this hotel, everything was exceptional in its design and finish, far beyond the likes of any other hotel. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access).
