The staff is so welcoming and accomodating - honestly - treated everyone the same. We felt like we belonged there - even though we just came down for the night from Denver (to get out of Denver!) on a deal. Im pregnant and had a massive headache and the staff brought me up a choice of advil or tylenol around 4:30am when I just couldn't take it anymore. I was expecting to pay $50 or so for it, but it was on the house. Pleasantly suprised! Such nice people.

The staff could not have been more helpful and solicitous. The food was excellent the shopping fun and the added treat of the on site movie theatre just made for a truly remarkable stay. Thanks. Beautiful setting next to Pikes Peak and golf courses. Luxurious room with excellent cleaning staff. Excellent food at hotel restaurants that were open. Beautiful, museum quality art on site. Great place to unwind after a long day. All of the guests seemed to be relaxed and enjoying themselves. This is only the second time I have been fortunate enough to stay at the Broadmoor. I hope to make it at least once a year from now on. The staff was excellent, never once have I come upon someone unfriendly or not helpful. The place is a picture postcard everywhere you look. I love it!. I loved the old world elegance which is unique compared to current hotel design. I also liked the movies. Loved the zoo. And I liked that people brought their well behaved dogs, although we did not. We returned home very relaxed. It was a quiet and friendly and beautiful weekend. This is a classic world class resort, luxurious, but friendly and comfortable. The staff is obviously well trained, pleasant, helpful, stepping forward...from opening a door to greeting you at every turn to appropriatley chatting. Just top notch. Wonderful relaxing environment. Staff was friendly and went our or their way to ensure our needs were met. This was my first time visiting The Broadmore - we will definitely plan another (longer) visit. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The service was excellent, accommodations were outstanding, and the views all around the hotel were spectacular. There was no T.V Land on the satellite. The high price of meals was a disappointment, even though it was delicious. The accommodations and nearby shopping were reasonable but the meals were over the top in expense and we could not find simple food on the menu. I would not recommend CO Springs because of the religious zealots whose values permeate the area. I would recommend the Broadmoor, the zoo, and the Fine Arts Center. what's not to like?. We enjoyed casual dining at the Golden Bee which was very enjoyable but the hostess station was a little disorganized which unneccesarily delayed our seating. Absolutely nothing. What's not to like?. Can't think of one thing. There wasn't one thing we didn't like. Wanted room with view of lake, but windows completely blocked by trees. Perfect security for Prince Harry, who might well have slept in this room. Nothing. No dislikes. The rooms were dated; I did not feel comfortable in most of the on site restaurants due to their dress codes (I was there to relax and hadn't planned to dress up). I was also uncomfortable having a hotel staff member escort me to my room upon arriving. In the West Annex, there was only one of 4 elevators operating. some of the restaurants are overpriced and don't represent grt value. Can't think of anything. That we couldn't stay longer. Food at Charles Court. Difficult to get into the hotel restaurants for dinner. Reservations are a must several days in advance!. They were not good at recommending places to eat outside of their resort. A bit pricey, but that is what you have to pay for such quality. I would be hard pressed to find anything I didn't like. I look forward to a return visit. There isn't a thing we did not like. we will return again next year for golf stay and play. nothing. a bit costly. nothing. Prices in restaurants. High prices. Wish I knew they were dog friendly...I would have brought my babies with me!. parking. Waiters at the Tavern were horrible, weather. Would have liked a room with a Mountain view. Booked a king and was told at check in that those requests are not guaranteed. To get a king we had to sacrifice the view. Booked a king bed but arrived to find our room had two doubles. Despite being full that night they changed our room to a king sized bed. And the room was much larger as well!. Nothing.
