The view of city and river from our room was brilliant. The staff were generally very helpful, most of time.
We thought the cost of breakfast and dinner in the resturant was expensive. As was the proposed cost to keep our room for an additional two hours on the day we checked out. The computers in the business centre were not working properly and no one wanted to look at the problem as they Were to Busy. Althought one kind staff member did print our boarding passes for us.
Location. It is close to everything and the place is safe and beautiful. Has connection to the subway without having to walk on street. Clean.
The person who did my checkin and checkout wasn't so polite. Another thing very intriguing was that there was always someone (staff) opening the door of my room.

I have a specialty diet and had trouble finding food in your restaurants and room service. Staff not very helpful.

Heating unit in room very noisy started up a bit like a truck starting up, but got used to it after a day or two.
Great location, pretty close to Loop area by walking.
Parking is not cheap.
THE VIEW!!!! Just breathtaking view of Chicago, clean and large room, location next to subway station but also in a walking distance from downtown.
Difficult to find the hotel
Your concierge, Todd Williams, was extremely friendly and courteous. He knows a lot about Chicago, and we found that his recommendations for entertainment and food were spot on. He is an excellent representative of your hotel.

I liked that your hotel was near where my daughter lives.
Didn't like being woke up at 1am, and 3:08am by the drunk girls in the next room. And never stayed in a hotel where there wasn't a refrigerator in the room. Probably not staying there again even though it's around corner from my daughter.

The location and the building and the view of Chicago river was fantastic. Made my stay enjoyable.
I just did not like the fact that the housekeeping had to knock on our room in the morning. I think they should be a direct communication between the front desk and housekeeping to know who checked out and who has not. This will prevent housekeeping from waking up guests who are still in house.
The view was amazing. We ordered dessert through room service and it was divine!
There seemed to be one working elevator the entire weekend we stayed. It was not uncommon to be crammed in with many people and for the wait to be long since there was one elevator for going up and down.

We booked a room for 3 nights, at time of check-in, the receptionist said we didn't mention if we want a non-smoking room!! We spend the first night in ( ashtray), a horrible smoking room, I couldn't sleep at all.. Next morning we switched to other room in floor 21 which was just great.. So keep in mind to check non-smoking room availability in good time... Otherwise it was good experience to stay.
We loved the view from our hotel room! The kids enjoyed the large pool and my husband liked the sauna. Close to everything.

The pool and fitness center were very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance of the bus stop and train stop.

I had a great holiday experience with my family
1) The restaurant, particularly the Staff, especially, Arturo. 2) The concierge and the other staff at the hotel desk where very helpful, also. 3) The exercise room and swimming pool.
Why would you put 3 wash cloths in room when 4 people are staying. Had to ask every night for extra. No fan in bathroom.
Room was awesome with a great view of the city! It was a quick cab ride to and from the United Center. Parking was really affordable!
The pull out couch didn't have any sheets on it and there was a big stain on the mattress... We called down for sheets for it and it took quite a while to get them.

I initially chose your hotel for it's location and price..Close to Amtrak, Downtown, easy access to the Metra rail/buses so we could visit all the Museums, Parks, Restraunts and don't forget " Shopping "..But your Hotel Staff is what will bring me back..I'm a flight attendant and I spend a lot of time in hotels..A Clean, comfortable room is important..But a friendly, helpful staff is most important to me..Thank you for a wonderful stay..Sincerely, Paula & Serena

The pool was very nice. The hotel was clean always someone at the front desk. GREAT view of the city easy to catch a cab and the bell men are very helpful. Room was clean and I was very impressed with the staff they were wonderful

It was right in the downtown area of Chicago which was close enough to the United Center which was where we were going. Lots of restaurants and sites within walking distance. Beautiful city to walk around in.
It's an awkward hotel built on top of the Chicago tribune but that's literally the only negative.

Hard to find hotel, and when we did.....walked in and didn't know where to go or see any signs! Walked down and saw Holiday Inn sign, turned but saw nothing at first. Finally 1 small sign that said go to 15th floor! Need better communication inside and out! Also, swimming pool too cold for an inside pool. Also, would like better choice on Adult menu for dinner.

Beds were very comfortable, staff was very friendly and accommodating, price was reasonable.
Bathroom had no exhaust fan, we had ants in our room and had to change rooms. Could have used a refrigerator in the room. A hot tub would have been nice.

Nice.city view, clean rooms, close to good restaurants. The front desk had excellent recommendations for breakfast, nightlife, historic bars and restaurants, and more. I saved the list they gave me and will be referring to it for years to come.
No refrigerators in the rooms?! We had to throw away some very expensive leftovers. A hot tub would be nice in the pool area.
