This property is excellent. It consists of all suites which is perfect for couples or families. The building is beautiful itself and has great views from the rooms. The room has a very nice layout with very nice furnishing which consists of a pull out couch and a very comfortable bed. The towels are plush and soft. There is a television in the living area and the bedroom. I felt very comfortable and wished I had booked more days. The location is just steps from Fanueill and Quincy Halls. .
kaikki arvostelut » Great Location and wonderful for longer term (more than a couple of days) stay. Roomy spacious, lots to do close by. Unique location (Historical building) It would be very helpful if the staff provided a map of the area, some local restaurants, and places like convenience stores and drugstores near by. Since the place is really designed for long-term stay, these sorts of things are important. the hotel was well located, and the room and facilities were clean. We also enjoyed their couting room which provided coffee, tea , hot chocolate while waiting for our room to be ready since we arrived early. The concierge (Bonnie) was very helpful with suggested restaurants and for finding a spa. Loved the buildinga nd its location. All staff were very friendly and help, but a special mention for Dave the night barman, who made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough to help us, his knowlegde of the bulidings history and the local area was excellent. Position! The actual building and the history behind it. The observation deck, the free laundromat, the cookies, the concierge help, the cupboard space, the entertainment. The request for a lower floor being met, the artwork around the place. The description did not do justice to the room, it was like a mini apartment.Two TV`s large bedroom with onsuite bathroom, excellent facilites throughout. The staff could not do enough for you, made you feel very welcome. The staff was great and concierge's were very helpful. Historic beautiful building. Our room was spacious and private. Also very comfortable. Location was perfect, close to all the major attractions. I loved the separate sitting area. It made it seem more like a small apartment than a hotel room. The flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom were a huge bonus. The history of the building and the level of comfort in the rooms. The bed and linen was fantastic. Also liked the kitchenette. Fabulous location! Gym facilities 24/7 also a bonus; front desk and concierge staff excellent. The view from the observatory room. Hotel was beautiful, safe, clean and very convenient to everything. everything we had a great time and the staff were excellent. nice, spacious, clean room with all the amenities. No restaurant in the building (although some close by) only a bar and vending machines. They do have a breakfast option but thats it. Lack of urgency in a few of the staff. Needing a taxi, it took the front desk 10 minutes to call for a cab. the sofabed was not comfortable at all. My only compaint would be the parking it very expensive, I know its city center, but $40 a night to keep my car on the road infront of the hotel is extortionate. The lady in the dining room, not friendly and always looking at us as though we were imposing on her private property. The noise from the pub across the road and the garbage trucks at all hours made getting a decent sleep very difficult. Air conditioning although worked well, did make a bit of noise, but hotel compensated for this, very good service for that. Nothing everything was perfect!. The plumbing was rather noisy. The aircon was a bit noisy. Heater in bathroom didn't work and a/c and/or heat fan both loud. Housekeeping never made up our room and we were gone from 3:30 am till after 4pm. Price, was out of sight, over $400 for a one night stay. Dinette was a waste of space as it was not useful unless you stayed longer than a weekend, but then the cost would prohibit that. Sofa bed was not high end, in light of this very luxurious hotel. nothing. Cost for parking. I think there should be a complimentary breakfast included with a $400 + a night room. Bathrooms are dated. Below average for the money. Sometimes was some street noise but it was not excessive for a city centre hotel. Bar area 'entertainment' seemed unnecessary given the location of the hotel and meant could not sit and relax (but there are plenty of good places nearby where you can). nothing. Open-air observation deck never open do not book because of it, you will be wasting your money...
