Of all the hotels I looked at near Harvard, it was most reasonably priced. The area is very expensive though. Included continental breakfast and Internet, which many others did not. So good value relative to other nearby inns and hotels, but still more e xpensive than I would expect to pay for the accommodations if it were elsewhere.

I loved this hotel and have stayed in many. There is a shuttle that brings you to major stops in Cambridge. Super convient and arrives after five mins of calling for only 5$ a day!
There is a nice lobby and this is close to Starbucks and Trader joes so no breakfast included isn't a huge loss.

Very personable staff especially the man working the checkout desk on 11 September during the day.I kept my bags with him and he was very accommodating. - The staff was very friendly. I had scheduled a late arrival. The front desk greeted me by name when I walked in the door after midnight.

Really enjoyed our stay. All staff particularly shuttle drivers , concierge and receptionists were extremely helpful and welcoming. Such a beautiful and well-preserved historic beauty, inside and out! The staff was so gracious, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were homecooked and delicious; there were snacks available all day long. Owner had given much thought to little details that made my stay so pleasant. I could walk around a beautiful old neighborhood and one block to the "T" and feel safe and peaceful. I definitely will stay there again.
