I stayed here while visiting my daughter who lives in York and I found this hotel to be lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. At the bar the service was excellent and the breakfast (a buffet) had something for everyone's taste. The hotel was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good price, clean and comfy rooms, helpful staff, free hotel parking and very quite location - despite being near a park and ride bus-stop for in and out of York. (If you wanted to taxi ride it was less than £8.) There is a gastro pub within yards of the Premier Inn (The Dormouse) - it looked nice but we had already booked for dinner in York. Breakfasts at Premiere Inn were fine.
