The room was lovely and clean and despite its small size, had everything you needed-TV, dvd player, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner,coffee- making facilities. The bed was super comfortable and the room was kept clean throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious-we had both the "breakfast in bed" and cooked breakfast options and really enjoyed ourselves. Ideal location as well and nice and quiet in the evenings so you can get a good night's sleep after a day's walking.
kaikki arvostelut » Leigh, the owner, was fabulous she was very accommodating, beautiful accommodation. Fab location, within walking distance of two towns. She covered all the bases re local information and was fab value for money. We didn't fancy full English so continental breakfast served to our room was a lovely treat and included in room price, lovely touch. We will be visiting again. W e had a lovely stay, everything was excellent, the food( breakfast) was fresh and plentiful with a great choice, the room was comfortable, very clean and of a high standard and the owner was friendly and a wonderful host, she gave great advice of the area. The owners Sue and Paul were really lovely. The B&B was very clean. Rooms were cosy and the beds were very comfy. Almost didn't want to get up of a morning except for the cooked breakfast. It was AMAZING and really set you up for a days adventurers!. The guest house was very clean and the room was comfortable and warm. The breakfast room was lovely and the atmosphere was very friendly. The owners had lots of local knowledge which helped us get the most out of our holiday in the Lake District. Great hosts in Paul and Sue, very friendly and helpful, would recommend to anyone wanting a short break in the area,with a brilliant breakfast to start your day on. Situated just far enough away from the busy streets to ensure peaceful sleep. Well-located guest house with friendly & welcoming hosts. Clean, cosy room with good amenities. Fast Wi-Fi access available! Very near Windermere town centre and 10 min walk to Bowness which has many bars and restaurants. Quite amazing guest hotel, I really enjoy this three days here. Especially the breakfast, I will never forget it. If someday i could back to windermere, I will live here again. Paul and Sue was very nice people, they are managing the guest house very well, helpful, ready to assist us any time and of course room are very clean, peacful and quiet. The room is cozy and clean with lovely decoration. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and I would come back again if visiting the lake district. The cosy comfortable setting and rooms. Breakfast. The cupboard with DVDs was kept locked, which was a slight inconvenience on one of the nights when we came back after 9pm and wanted to watch a film and could not get access to the key. However, this didn't really bother us as you don't really come to the Lake District to watch films anyway! And I completely understand why it needs to be locked as not all guests are as honest and trustworthy as us ;). Only complaint was the shower wasn't very powerful but everything else was so good we forgot to mention it to Leigh. Nothing. Location is little bit far from the main road ,but it's not a big issue. I think in a way is good to avoid car noises. NA. Private bathroom was fantastic but it was downstairs on the 1st floor which was a bit too far from our room which was an attic room on the 3rd floor. Not a great problem overall if your fit. Nothing!. en-suite bathroom a bit small but clean and functional and it was fine. Bathroom a little dated but clean and workable, nothing to spoil a holiday. Bed too small and better water pressure is needed.
