Situated in Shanklin, on the coast of the Isle of Wight, The Royson Guest House is just 2 minutes' walk from the clifftops and steps to the sandy beach below. The railway station is just a 15-minute walk away. Home-cooked food is served, with a full English breakfast provided each morning. You can relax in the lounge or conservatory.The guest house has free private parking on site. Rooms at The Royson are simply decorated with wooden furnishings. Each has its own bathroom, Freeview flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and facilities for making tea and coffee. There are footpaths to take along the cliffs, with stunning views. The old village of Shanklin, with its thatched cottages and quaint shops, is a mile from the building. The town's shops, pubs and restaurants are within 20 minutes' walk.

Guy and Claire are a very friendly couple who will do what they can to make your stay an enjoyable one however long it is for. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed we had was a queen size and was very comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee to be had in the room. Also they had a bar stocked with a small selection of tinned beers, wine and spirits. All in all we had a very cheap and enjoyable stay.

The rooms were spotless everyday, the breakfast facilities were great, very near to beaches, cafes, and local bus & train stations. We wanted a relaxed few days away and we got exactly that thanks to our hosts hospitality. Definitely be returning. The Royson is an excellent B & B, the owners are friendly and interested and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast I selected of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon is to die for! Absolutely brilliant! We will be using you again. Being made to feel welcome on arrival and finding our room was very pleasant and spotlessly clean. The food was very good and we were given the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Thank You!. Very friendly family run guest house with the hosts always being helpfull.
