The annex rooms are located in a separate building on the hotel grounds. Guests can take a short uphill stroll through the hotel grounds to access the annex rooms. Fermain Valley features an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a choice of cosy lounges with board games. There is also a cinema with leather armchairs, and beautiful award-winning gardens. The Valley Brasserie and Terrace serves seasonal menus using fresh, local produce. Light lunches and fine wines are also available, and indulgent cooked breakfasts are served daily. Just 5 minutes’ drive from the charming harbour town of St Peter Port, Fermain Hotel is surrounded by Guernsey’s scenic countryside. Guernsey Airport is a 10-minute drive away.

Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens. The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value. Could not fault the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and well appointed. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and when returning from dinner found red roses on the bed - a lovely thoughtful touch! We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin.
kaikki arvostelut » The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish. Meals very good. Provisions in the room were excellent. Free Wi-Fi. All staff were excellent, Sarah was especially good and arranged our move to a quieter room; the male receptionist could not be bothered to look at the possibilities. Even when multiple events were on the quality of food and service remained consistently high. The hotel was extremely comfortable and the food was superb. The views were gorgeous and the staff were all excellent. But I must mention the General Manager, Robert Steen, whose local knowledge was particularly useful to us; and Gavin, who was always most helpful and quite superb in dealing with my forgotten items. A good location close to the Fermain Bay and it is very close to St Peter Port. The Hotel provides exceptional views down the valley towards the sea. The Hotel Staff are always friendly and go out of their way to be very helpful. This all adds up to the making of an wonderful relaxing holiday. All the staff were so amazingly friendly and helpful, a first class team and venue. The food and presentation in both the Valley and the Rock Garden Restaurants were perfect, especially the Tennerfest menu. Excellent in all aspects, what a great location too, we will visit again. The location was beautiful. The staff extremely welcoming and treated you like an old friend. Lovely walk down the hill to the beach and then an hours walk along the cliffs into town - great. The courtesy van driver was very helpful. Having local knowledge was brilliant. Everything! The hotel, surroundings, staff, food, cleanliness was first class and we would never stay anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff we will see you again. You really made our special weekend so perfect. Everything. Had trouble emailing the hotel with a special request as the letsbookhotel.com website was not up to date. Felt our superior room en-suite bathroom was somewhat small and cramped. Had been assured that the champagne we had ordered would be in our room by a requested time but reception had to be reminded when the delivery didn't happen as agreed. Room 10 which we were originally allocated was unbearably noisy. We were first refused a move then eventually allowed a move for the last 3 days - so the first 4 days were awful. It was very disappointing to have to tolerate such an awful room. We were not able to sit in the garden. There were only 5 loungers available for all the guests, that is very poor. There was nothing we didn't like or enjoy about this hotel. The food served at dinner was very basic. N/a. Nothing. Restaurant: Cooked food not good standard - Fish pie served with evening meal was scalding hot and the fish therein appeared to be undercooked! No vegetables served with dish. Breakfast overall not up to that served in Premier Inn! Some staff very good others surly. Bedroom: There was a lot of banging emanating from the room above even though we specifically asked for a quiet room. The twin beds were very narrow for a hotel of this standard. Slow service in the restaurant on one occasion; lack of air conditioning. Our first room was above the rather noisy Rock garden bar & eatery. The noise did not stop until 12.30am. The hotel manager speedily arranged for us to change to a quieter room. Bit expensive, tried to order packed lunch and ended up with expensive sandwiches!. Couldn't stop the bathroom floor from 'flooding' every time we used the shower. Could not get a 'proper' porridge for breakfast. Always a watery mess!. Only downside was our meal in the Rock Garden Restaurant - very third rate in comparison to everything else. Dinner menu and food - presumptuous, would prefer simple good food Waiters not friendly - like robots, never smile. The noise from the tapas wine bar at the back of the hotel until midnight especially when your twin room no.42 is situated above said bar. Failed to deal with a faulty bath thermostat meant lukewarm bath - room 12. Nothing. Very little storage space within the room itself for clothing. Nothing. No warning online that our rooms would be above 'Rock Cafe', music and smell of frying from 4pm to midnight. No attempt to offer discount because of this but then left phone message asking for extra £72 because they had made a mistake in bill! Reported fridge not working first night, not repaired but restocked daily with luke warm water. We had a room in the annexe (the Venue). Avoid at all costs. Its noisy,away from the main hotel and liable to serious disruption from events. It spoilt our stay. We were moved for 2 nights but then had to return there. Its more like a 1 star location. Should never be used for non event customers.
