  The setting was perfect for a serene and romantic break. The small number of children were very well behaved and gave the hotel a more family and friendly feel.   I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu. Leisure facilities great - nice to have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the evening.   Everything beautifully clean very comfortable and friendly - I found the Hotel location excellent being close to both the railway station (500 yards) and Hook's business park (1 mile).

  we had a meal on the Friday we arrived Thai curry was excellent expertly prepared. The staff were helpful and friendly . We would recommend Chilli pad as a comfortable affordable base . - Great staff, very friendly and helpful, Great Thai food, breakfast could be better. Very comfortable bed.
