A lot of folks are giving it a bad review because the carpet is worn, the room temps aren't climate controlled and, yes, the bathrooms are micro-sized. But I like to sleep cheap, eat well and be in a good part of town. If you don't mind climbing stairs, this is a great place for those who don't want to spend a fortune on lodging in London! Just leave your high expectations

  CLEANLINESS - Very good hotel for the price paid. Very clean and helpful friendly staff. Very good location. I booked a single and got a double instead, and so I had so much room. Shower spacious and good water pressure.

  Stayed here for 1 night with my partner, we were attending a function close by so location was excellent. we arrived half a hour early but the gentleman on reception was very helpful and rather than make us wait while our room was been cleaned, he changed our room so we could check in early. although the room wasn't huge, there was plenty of room ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » for 2 people and as the hotel was fairly new all the facilities were up to an excellent standard. I would definitely use this hotel again, it was even - Great position, Shoreditch is full of pubs, clubs and restaurants and very close to the City! Old street underground station is 5-10 minutes on foot; next to the hotel there is the bus stop (buses to the Tower of London, Oxford Circus and Waterloo). Hotel clean and new. "Mediterranean" breakfast. Staff very gently.

  The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I liked the location because it was peaceful. There are a couple of convenience stores and post ofc a couple of blocks down the road. My cabin was very comfortable and I didn't lack for anything - Comfortable relaxed environment, lovely rooms, almost like a holiday flat. Ideal for London.

  My friend and I stayed at the A to B Hotel for a week in September and just loved it! There is an English Breakfast to be had but if you are a vegetarian, that's fine too and you can just have eggs/ tomatoes/ toast... We arrived and were upgraded to an ensuite though we didn't pay for it, which was kind. The rooms are basic but clean and we were very impressed with the breakfast the next morning. Management was lovely and were more than helpful to us. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you want value for money, a clean room and nice staff.
