Royal Portrush Golf Club is just a 20-minute walk and is one of Ireland’s premier links courses. Old Bushmills whiskey distillery is a 15-minute drive and offers tours.

Myself and my husband loved everything about Ashlea House from the facilities to the friendly warm staff, the breakfasts were spot on ... You could not fault this B&B the view was superb over looking Port Rush, it was amazing! We had a bit of a problem with our flight times and train times so Geraldine (landlady) got her wonderful husband Ray to take us to Belfast City Airport at 6 in the morning and would lonely take the diesel money nothing more!

We were thrilled with our stay at Ashlea House. Our room was spacious and cheerfully decorated, with a great view of the harbour. Thoughtful additions were made to the typical tea tray, such as cappuccino mix and biscuits. Most impressively, when we told Geraldine, the hostess, that we were in a bit of a hurry to leave due to our travel plans, our breakfast came out more quickly than I even thought possible. She did everything in her power to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possibl.
I loved the fact mum & i were able to bring our dog Toby with us being pet friendly. Geraldine was so friendly & made us feel very welcome. Room was so spacious & comfortable - home from home. Great breakfast & very reasonable; close to harbour & central to everything. We hope to return in the future & would definitely recommend Ashlea House.
fantastic place, will be booking again asap. breakfast is first class and the owner is friendly, polite and would help you with anything that you needed. its the best b&b / guesthouse that we have stayed in. the comfort and professional set up would put some hotels to shame. will be going back very soon.
This is a fairly typical seaside B&B where people are coming and going constantly. The owner is a fabulous woman who is extremely helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious (unfortunately no view) and comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully set and the food excellent.
Enjoyed my one night stay here very much. Was very pleased with the room and the friendliness of staff. The owner is lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was an excellent selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts and a fry up!! Would definitely recommend and hope to return.
Close to Giant's Causeway, Duluce Castle, Jameson Distillery. Large family room with full Irish breakfast included. Walking distance to local "hotspot" restaurants. A little seaside community with a boardwalk. Free parking on streets. Friendly proprietor.
Excellent place to stay to explore the surrounding area. Geraldine was a fantastic landlady. Very chatty and attentive. Gave us breakfast when we arrived even though our room wasn't ready. Food was lovely. Excellent value for money. Nothing too much trouble.
We received a very warm welcome on arrival from the lady who runs this B&B and she was very friendly and helpful for the duration of the stay. Lovely breakfast too with all the trimmings. Room was very comfy and very warm with extra heaters if wanted.

Very friendly welcome, owner very helpful with parking. Lovely big room overlooking sea with big opening windows great for breeze on hot days and nights during our stay. Hair dryer and ironing facilities in-room. Attention to detail good.
Geraldine the owner who runs Ashlea house was so friendly and helpful to
us and the room was large and comfortable with a terrific view over the
bay. The breakfast the following morning was just great and we left
feeling very happy.

We loved Ashlea House! They were nice and friendly and we loved our room. It was really big with two double beds and with a great big window looking out to the water. Very beautiful we thought it was great value for money.
Me and my boyfriend loved absolutely everything the staff were so accomodating breakfast was then brought up to our room in the morning which definitely put the icing on the cake......we will surely be staying here again.

The landlady and staff there were so friendly. Room is very spacious, with everything you need for a hotel. Breakfast is included. The hotel is very close to the beach, as well as some good restaurants.

The bathroom was probably the smallest I'd seen --- no room to swing a cat even. But the shower was curiously efficient --- you simply press a button for the water to come on and off and you dialed up the temperature. Bedlinen needs attending to. Unfortunately, this town lacks decent restaurants and we had our only dud meal on our entire month-long trip in Ireland. Pity.
