  This is not your regular hotel. For a start you get a full kitchen area with dishwasher and microwave. The room is large, spacious and well designed. Bathroom is funky designer with a great walk in shower and brilliant shower - loads of water and kept to temperature! Flat screen tv I can plug my laptop in to watch movies, very, very comfy bed. I went for the baseme - We had a Grand Studio on the 4th floor and there was no noise from outside or other rooms. We stayed on a Saturday so we did expect some noise. The room we had was lovely with a Super King size bed. The room was quite large and also contained a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, cutlery & plates, iron, hair dryer, free wi fi, flat screen tv with Internet access. Also, you had to be out of the room x 11am but for an extra £10 you could stay in the room until 1pm. Breakfast was simple but nice and

  I absolutely LOVED the staff they were so lovely and very very helpful. The location was also very convenient as there are many stylish shops around and Piccadilly is only a 5 minutes walk away so it was also very convenient for visiting the museums. All in all I would absolutely recommend The Hatt - Almost everything! This hostel helped make Manchester one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect for shopping, and the center of the city is not far at all. It was so easy to meet people here. The pub crawls are a lot of fun and I recommend them to anyone who wants to quickly make friends. The staff were all nice, as well, and gave us plenty of help finding things.

  The position is excellent and though set back and quiet, it is right next to a large Tesco and the M62 junction, at one end of a pleasant village with a lovely park and several eateries and within a few minutes walk of the Metrolink station which takes you right into the centre of Manchester. I got better service from this place than other hotels that I have paid a lot of money for.   Being a new hotel, it was very clean, the rooms were great (loved the showers). As the purpose of our trip was shopping, the Ramada is quite close by taxi to the Trafford Centre. It is very clean and comfortable. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre too
